You don't have to pay VAT if you are a US citizen.

Some EU countries charge value added taxes. These are domestic taxes, which we don't charge as our company is located outside the EU.

Make sure to research the laws in your country and consult with your accountant on how to self-asses VAT if you have to pay it.
